July, 2023:

We, the Membership Committee, are so excited that our congregation continues to grow and thrive. But we have a question: What does being a member MEAN to you?

We can easily say that TBT is a special place for connection and community. TBT congregants are friends and may even consider themselves family to others of our members. TBT is the one place that provides Jewish education programs for children and adults and we are a home for seeking spiritual fulfillment through our Jewish traditions and prayers.

But what does being a member of TBT truly mean? What would you tell someone who is a newcomer to services? How do you explain what makes TBT a place you and your family want to be a part of for another year?

Your answers to these questions are important. The Membership Committee will be asking you for your definitions sometime so that we can convey personal impressions to new members, potential members and to the greater community. Your feedback will also help the Membership Committee address member concerns. No one is more important to us, and we need to make sure your voice is heard.

In order to solicit your responses, Membership will be working on a questionnaire. Updates and more information about this will be coming out in the next few weeks, so watch your email.

Thank you in advance for your input on this extremely important topic.
