Dear Religious School Families (Parents, Grandparents, etc!),

It's time to register your children for Religious School for 2009-2010. I think you'll be pleased with the planning that has gone into improving our children's Jewish education. Please return the enclosed registration materials as soon as possible, but not later than August 15, 2009. I'm also happy to note that tuition fees will not be raised this year! However, you will find an additional line on the tuition form for voluntary donations to Religious School that would be used for teacher training classes, materials, and extra expenses. Thanks for your support!

Here are the basics: please note the changes:

• HEBREW SCHOOL for 1^st through 6^th graders will begin promptly at 9:00 AM (Note: We are allowing 1^st and 2^nd graders to enroll in Hebrew School if desired.)
• JUDAIC STUDIES will begin promptly at 10:00 AM and finish at 12:00 PM
• POST B'NAI MITZVAH (Grades 8 through 12) will meet at 9:00 AM as noted on the calendar.

The Religious School is financially self-supporting. Your tuition covers the expenses of running the school. If, however, your family finances do not allow you to pay the full tuition, please contact me for a confidential discussion. No student will be turned away from Sunday school due to an inability to pay.

I need to inform you that our board policy states that only members of Temple Beit Torah in good standing may enroll their children in Religious School. If you are submitting school registrations before the completion of the membership process, your child or children will be allowed to attend school for up to two weeks, while your check is being held. If you do not submit your application for membership or bring your dues current by the end of two weeks, regretfully, your child or children will have to be removed from the rolls and your check returned, unless special arrangements have been made.

Send your payment, registration and tuition forms to the Temple office at the above address. Please be sure to complete, in full, a registration form for each child. You can pick up extra forms at registration, or download and print additional registration forms from our website: www.beit-torah.org
